Title: Gaia Child
Gender: Male
Age: 84
Sun Sign: Virgo
Chinese Sign: Wood Ox
Location: East of Mt. Hood, Oregon, in the tall timber ![]()
About Me:
I see that Gaia gives me the Chinese Sign of the Wood Ox. My research finds that people who come under wood ox astrology are put on a higher pedestal than other people. Born geniuses these people are bright and brilliant. Along with their charming personality they are also quite stubborn and short tempered. Wood ox people have many times been mentors and people tend to look up to them. These people also have a great sense of humor and challenge everyone's tickling buds. They have a strong moral code and believe in ethics and integrity in life. Wood oxen people are also very practical but the finances are not very stable, as they tend to lend money to friends quite often. People under this Chinese sign are very good with relationships. They always sit down and talk their differences over and don't let misunderstandings crop between them. This is great to hear. Western astrology has been debased by commercialization.
There is much about astrology I didn't know until I was fully exposed. Man has looked to the heavens from his beginning and found that we are inextricably connected, not that cosmic movements are the cause of events and human characteristics here on Earth, but that they are the reflection, as I see it, it is remarkable how astrologers have predicted events in my life and characteristics. As I see it, there is only one great drama taking place. It is under the direction of the Superconsciousness of the universe. The cutting edge of science is finally realizing that as conscious beings, we correspond with cosmic consciousness.
I was born in 1925, in the so-called flapper era. People danced the Charleston, the fashion short skirts and cloche hats. Tom Mix and Tony the Wonder Horse starred in Riders of the Purple Sage. Not many are aware that 1925 was a crucial year in America's history. In 1925, the IRS was granted authority to examine personal income records. This would have profound consequences, beginning in 1933, the beginning of America's Great Depression, when Roosevelt's New Deal law gave government a duty to the individual. It has grown to out of control proportions, promising to make future generations tax slaves.
When my ruling planet, Uranus, had transited to a position opposing itself when I was born, it would put the pressure on me to change, Accordingly, I departed my old life in Flower Mound, Texas on Good Friday 1975, arriving in Miami on Easter Sunday. I was on my way to a new and different life. For two years, I would sail the South Atlantic Ocean. Reborn, from then on, I would look within for my answers.
When I was born, Aquarius was on my Ascendant, the point at which the eastern horizon intersects the ecliptic. (In astrology, everything is Pythagorean geometrics.) Aquarius is in my First House, the “I AM THAT I AM” house, the God-self house, if you will. In this location, it is called my “rising sign,” when the sun rose on my life on planet Earth. In that the sun travels across the surface of Earth at approximately 900 m.p.h., in order to know my rising sign, an astrologer must know where I was born and the exact time of my birth. I was born in Houston, Texas on September 17, 1925 at 4:51 P.M.C.S.T. No question about it. I'm Aquarius rising.
In my chart, My Sun, Moon, Mars, and Mercury are in my Seventh House, the house of partners. It makes partners the most important in my life. In the song Aquarius,
When the moon is in the Seventh House,
And Jupiter aligns with Mars,
Then peace will guide the planets,
And love will steer the stars.
With Neptune on the cusp of my Seventh House, it means I would be susceptible to misunderstanding in partnership matters. When I departed Flower Mound, at age 49, I was divorcing my second wife. The divorce trial was on September 8, 1975. I did well. We had just passed the new moon in Seventh House, which correlates with legal action. That was a positive for me. My Sun in the Ninth House was a positive. My astrologer named other positives. But the big plus for me was “the part of fortune in my chart.” My astrologer told me this indicated that there is a potential to gain from people who are secretly working against me.
When the moon is in the Seventh House, in my natal chart opposed to Uranus, I would have little use for the traditional, history, and the past in general, a series of holy wars. But wait a minute! My Sun, also in my Seventh House in my natal chart, was opposed to Uranus when I was born. I would cling to the traditional, take positions against trends. In my natal chart, my Mars, also in my Seventh House, was opposed to Uranus. I'd put a lot of energy into positions against trends. It fits exactly. I stand firmly by the U.S. Constitution and the law of all times, nature's Higher Law. I'm opposed to the trend of interpreting the law in light of today's needs. The lyrics are on target.
And now this comes to light. Progressed Charts are used to better understand what motivates one to want to create major life changes. Although one's birth chart remains the same, the Progressed Chart describes life changes. The events and emotions they describe are part of us, deeply ingrained in our psyche. Inner feelings start to become more important and central to one's life.
On my progressed astrological chart, I note that my outer planets remains relatively unchanged. On my Progressed Chart on the day I departed my old life, while my Tenth House was vacant in my natal chart, Venus was in my Progressed Chart's Tenth House on the day I left my second wife. The Tenth House deals with the individual's base of operations with respect to society. It deals with carrying out one's responsibilities before the world and concerns public reputation. When I departed, everyone thought I'd run away from my responsibilities. Venus in the Tenth House on my departure meant that in the future I would be successful in dealing with the opposite sex.
In my Progressed Chart, Mars was added to my Eighth House, the house of joint resources. It affects the release of the Indwelling Spiritual Being back into the subtle planes. Mars in the Eighth House means strong desires and emotional intensity; energy and persistence are expended in getting things accomplished. I earlier mentioned that I was led to the law I needed at the county law library, and that in what I read, I felt that voices from the past were speaking to me. In the Eighth House, “individuals contact planes of being which are beyond the reach of their five physical senses, and they sometimes communicate with people who are not in physical incarnations.” Astrologer's Handbook.
In my Progressed Chart, my moon was in my Third House, which was vacant in my Natal Chart. This is the house of the conscious mind. It must exercise judgment and discrimination in choosing what the attention is allowed to dwell upon and thus where psychic energy of the individual will be directed. My major concern was my son by my second wife. My “part of fortune” above mentioned was working. Although the court's decision was largely in my favor, I saw to it that my son remained in his home. Although his mother had secretly been conniving to cheat me, I gave his mother a large part of that which had been awarded to me, and departed free of guilt. The Moon in the Third House means that I would be unconsciously influenced by my childhood influences. I could be prone to daydreaming and fantasy,
When the moon is in the Seventh House love will steer the stars. My fourth wife appeared. Since my departure from my old life, I've lived a charmed life. By the way, my transiting Jupiter opposed Venus in my Eighth House on April 4, 1976, the day I met my third wife. My astrologer had warned me to guard against that. Venus represents a women I might meet on April 4th. It's a minus, he told me.
That minus turned into a plus. On the first date with my fourth wife, a hike in the mountains near Mt. Saint Helens, on May 18, 1980, we were sitting on a log chatting when Karen said. “I want our's to be a platonic relationship.” At that very moment, we were made aware of the eruption. I think of it as a symbol-after a calamity, hope and renewal. Later, I asked Karen why she said that. She didn't know. “It just popped out.”
Fifteen years later, a friend gave Karen an “Astrological Compatibility” printout he had produced from a program in his computer. In it I read, “Your relationship with Karen, the platonic thing
was there from the start, and there is a sense of the brotherly and sisterly between you. Even if lovers, you will always be, first and foremost, good friends.” The moment I met Karen, I had the feeling I was meeting an old friend I'd not seen for a long time.
Believe or disbelieve that we're directly in communication with cosmic consciousness. The soul is defined as our immaterial essence, our animating principle, or actuating cause of life. Quantum physicist Evan Harris Walker, in The Physics of Consciousness, under “A God for Tomorrow,” “we have discovered proof that we exist as something more than pieces of matter. In the development of quantum theory, the observer emerges as co-equal in the foundry of creation.” In this connection, in discovering my soul mission, looking at my chart, I see that my Saturn is trine Pluto. This trine gives me the ability to understand the laws by which subtle forces are organized. I could have the willpower to work relentlessly toward making fundamental changes in my own and other lives. I could have a sense of destiny and an unusual karmic mission. With my Mercury trine Jupiter, writing on religious and philosophic subjects would be a natural in the Third, Sixth, and Ninth Houses. The Third House: Conscious thought. The Sixth House: After finding my self in my First House, hard work and detailed methodology brings into fruition that which is creatively envisioned in the Fifth House. The key to understanding the universe is learning to understand the atom-to understand the subtle forces of the microcosm, that which makes the outer manifestation possible. The Ninth House, and all the aspects of it reveals the individual's ability to tap the higher levels of inspiration , unfold wisdom, and develop a social consciousness.
There is much in our lives expressed in symbols. The 9-11 event was a symbol of calamity, the same for Jesus' crucifixion, and the same for my life, all followed by hope and renewal. What does this tell us? At the time of this writing, with Saturn in its worst aspect with Pluto, meaning “a widespread sense of epochal closure: ‘the end of an era,' ‘the end of innocence,' the destruction of an earlier mode of life that in retrospect may seem to have been marked by widespread indulgence, decadence, naivete, denial, and inflation.” This says Richard Tarnas in Cosmos and Psyche.
You can guess that I would hold it very important at this scary time to understand the real meaning of progressive, as distinguished from political progressive. Progressed Charts are used to better understand what motivates one to want to create major life changes. “The Dispensations are distinguished, exhibiting the majestic, progressive order of the divine dealings of God with humanity, ‘the increasing purpose' which runs through and links together the ages, from the beginning of the life of man to the end in eternity. Augustine said: ‘Distinguish the ages, and the Scriptures harmonize.” Rev. C.I. Scofield wrote this in the Introduction of The Scofield Reference Bible.
An examination of my astrological chart has amazed me. There are too many coincidences to be called coincidence. My examination further finds that I did not for the first 49 years of my life adhere to the positive aspects in my chart, by reason that my ruling planet, Uranus, was opposed to Mars when I was born. I was one of the victims of circumstances blaming my bad luck on other people. By the time I was in my 40s, Uranus had transited to a position opposite its position when I was born. I would be under pressure to change. And change I did. When I was 49, with my business career on the rocks and my second wife divorcing me, this God-self departed from my old life. I went to sea on a small boat. There was nothing but the sea, the heavens, and me. At the same time, a tiny speck, I was the only living entity in the scene. I learned the power that existed in me. The inexplicable occurred during my time at sea.
Wouldst thou know the secret of the sea?
Only those who brave its dangers,
Comprehend its mystery.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Speaking to the political progressive, biologist Julian Huxley, in his essay, The Future of Man, explains our increasing purpose with ,”Man's exploration and control of external nature has outdone his exploration and control of his own nature.” Man does not live by bread alone. Look within for your answers. You can see from my chart that any notion that we are mechanical men, and that we can be taught to jump through authority's hoops, would set me off. Put in office by political progressives, President Obama fiddles while Rome burns.
Speaking of symbols, President Obama's Mercury was in Cancer when he was born. Symbolically, this means he would see the world through the eyes of an emotionally sensitive cosmic nurturer, that of a mother with unconditional love. Paying close attention to his emotional love of all, if what he sees doesn't match his emotions, he looks the other way, for instance, away from the plummeting stock market. Because of his highly developed empathy for the underdog, Obama is often times contradictory. He would confuse help for the needy with control. He would keep us tied to the status quo as long as possible, stop us from crossing the threshold to our future.
This Aquarian Rising was born with my Mercury in Virgo. Symbolically-archetypically-this means I would see the world through the eyes of an organizer. I would desire high standards of ethics and morality through reason, logic, and methodical analysis. I would be for the rule of law and ordered liberty. I would be exacting and seek to bring coherence to the world. According to my astrology, in the future, When the moon is in the Seventh House, And Jupiter aligns with Mars, Then peace will guide the planets-you and I, with God's help, not the stars, not the authorities.
When I was born my moon was in Virgo. We read in Meenakshi's post in “The Power of Light:” “The soulful, peacemaking Pisces Sun opposes the scientific, nature-based healing Virgo Moon… Virgo understands the oneness of all life through the physical realities of cosmology, mathematics and physics. In Virgo's world, holiness is achieved through transcendent embodiment, and from this state of embodied awareness one can heal almost any malady… Virgo understands the oneness of all life through the physical realities of cosmology, mathematics and physics.”
Obama and the Democratic Party are clearly America's socialist party. The Republicans have lost their identity as conservatives. The effect is a badly weakened America. The “soulful, peacemaking Pisces” is a sensitive sign and those born under it are extremely responsive to the thoughts and feelings of others. They unconsciously absorb the ideas and mental outlook of those around them. They desperately want to do the right thing, but as a rule they do not have strong willpower. They are easily influenced by external factors. We're leaving the Age of Pisces, moving into the Age of Aquarius. Aquarius is the sign of the future and the water bearer, reflecting the idealism of the new life the future promises. Don't expect an Aquarian to follow the crowd. They are individuals who like to do their own thing and they enjoy being different. Aquarians take pride in their intellectual independence. They can be liberal and progressive in thought, and yet still fixed in their opinion. However, they are fair judges of different opinions because they don't let emotions get in their way.”
Clinging to the past, Obama says the enormous increase in debt, by the way furthering socialism, is really to avoid the mistakes made that caused the Great Depression of the 1930s-and, by the way building the American people's anger. The effect of socialist Obama, the emotionally sensitive cosmic nurturer, that of a mother with unconditional love on Alla's warriors is that of a weakling leading a weak nation. His tossing of olive branches to Islam's hierarchy only hastens the prophetic Battle of Armageddon.
The current situation is a reflection of heavenly movements. In September, 1925, the month and year of my birth, Werner Heisenberg, Hitler's atom bomb builder, published his uncertainty principle, the forerunner of quantum mechanics and the discovery of nuclear fission, which would ultimately end World War II with the dropping of the atom bomb on Japan. At the time, I was on the high seas heading for the invasion of Japan. I came as a messenger.
Quantum mechanics brought us Bell's theorem and irrefutable proof that there are other dimensions than the space-time dimension. There is a dimension of infinite possibility. What we observe becomes our reality. Everything that goes around does not necessarily come around. We have no idea of the power we possess.
Symbols have led the world's greatest prophets to their predictions of the future. The Aquarian values his independence more than anything; that is, his “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” as written in declaration in Congress and published on July 4, 1776. It was signed by the representatives of the United States of America. They signed their death warrant. If England's King George could have gotten his hands on them they would have been hung. America was born this day, Aquarian in nature, and “to assume among the Powers of Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and Nature's God entitle them,” not only to “a decent respect to the opinions of mankind,” to respect of the opinions of the individual, because “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.”
We're immersed in the infinite scheme of the universe: inseparable. Something happens out there; it happens at the same instant here. It has nothing whatever to do with the time-space consortium. There is only one grand play. Events are mutually reflective-out there, in here. It is proven in Bell's theorem. We see by our five senses; quantum physics sees it mathematically. Bell's theorem says there is a “nonlocal” force, above the local forces of gravity and electromagnetism. Saturn rules the laws and limitations of our material world. Saturn is called the learning planet because we learn from our mistakes. The opposite of Saturn, Uranus rules our insights. As you see in my profile, I'm the product of many influences, all striving for harmony. Our insight comes into play. If this is so, that must be so. The Higher Law involves the forces of harmony and symmetry with which we're natively linked.
According to my astrologer, we have a new image of what it means to be a human being, how to think of ourselves as growing, evaluating, understanding, that we may connect with our God-self energy. The emotional issue we face now is pointed out by the Moon sign-how this feels as we go through life-archetypically-how we naturally uplift people. My mission is to bring into consciousness reactions and determine whether or not the reaction is mature or immature-so I can step back and look at my higher self, when need becomes strength.
An Aquarian, a different kind of individual, is one who does not compromise his principles, one who marches to the beat of a different drummer, one who is inventive, who discovers new methods and shows the rest of humanity the way. Aquarians are chance-takers who know where the fruit grows. The Age of Aquarius, an age of quantum uncertainty, with a dimension of infinite possibility, this is what we have to look forward to.
Why has my life followed closely my astrological chart's predictions and others' don't? Shortly after I departed my failed life, looking for a better life, on a chance meeting with an astrologer, I had him prepare my atrological chart. It didn't fit. It wasn't until I decided to write my memoirs at age 76 and looked back on my life that my chart fit me like a hand in a glove. We have a choice. In my early life, my chart didn't fit. It wasn't until a mid-life crises, as predicted, caused me to drastically change my life that I discovered the real me.
Not many believe we are reflections of heavens and visa versa. After the fact, I now know. From knowing the time and place of my birth, my astrologer mapped out my intended destiny. If we could believe that, how much better would our lives be?
